Based in The Hague, Netherlands, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. As the Head of Content Collaboration Section, you will be working with the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC).

The NDWC is accountable to the General Manager for the consolidated Agency consultation and collaboration services that comprise the current Digital Workplace, covering the operational NATO services, across all content classifications and security domains, for desktop computing, mail, instant messaging, video teleconference (VTC), content services platforms, telephony, printing and mobility services. Responsibilities also cover the organisation and support of all digital events, meetings and large-scale conferences for both the Agency and NATO stakeholders. Furthermore, the NDWC also has the responsibility for driving the future roadmaps of these services across the NATO Enterprise to enable a NATO Digital Workplace through new services.

About you

We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Head of Content Collaboration Section with minimum 3 years of relevant/post-related experience, who holds minimum a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline. A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

Within the NDWC you will be leading the Content Collaboration Section, which is accountable for all the Content Collaboration Services throughout their entire Service lifecycle, in order to fulfil the agreements established with the customers (SLAs/OLAs), regardess of where the technology components, processes or professional capabilities reside.

You should have:

  • At least 2 years of working experience as Service Manager or Project Manager in a big and complex company/organization, with ideally at least 1,000 employees
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of policies, methodologies, processes, tools and technologies for content-focused collaboration, business process automation and web content management
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 applications (in particular: SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office, PowerBI, Forms, Power Automate)
  • Significant knowledge and experience of Agile and DevOps methodologies

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Please note that ALL SELECTED CANDIDATES, with the exception of currently employed NATO International Civilians (NIC’s) will be appointed at the first Increment of the indicated NATO Grade, i.e. NATO Grade X, Increment 1.This is the salary referred to in this vacancy notice. Extra increments can only be considered for candidates from another Co-Ordinated Organisation.

Selected candidates who are not nationals of the host country and who have not been continuously resident in the host country for at least one year may be eligible for an expatriate allowance.
